Uses (automotive & bodywork)

  • Not for continuous water immersion or structural windscreen bonding.

Surfaces

Bonds most painted & bare metals, GRP, ABS, PVC*, coated steels, primed panels, wood, masonry, stone.
Avoid / test first: PE, PP, PTFE, PC, PMMA, soft plastics, neoprene, bituminous substrates. Always test paint compatibility and adhesion on your exact system.

*PVC: test for plasticiser migration.

Application & finishing (shop SOP)

  1. Prep: Clean, dry, dust/grease-free. Degrease (panel wipe).

  2. Bead: Apply steady bead; ventilate seams (10–20 mm spacing).

  3. Tool: Tool within open time (approx. 10–15 min).

  4. Paint: Paint after skin formation. Emulsion/solvent systems vary—lightly key if needed; always test.

  5. Re-seal: Purge a pea-sized bead, wipe tip, fit screw cap; store tip-up.

Storage: +5 °C to +25 °C, dry, unopened. Use within labelled shelf life.

Safety & compliance

  • Non-isocyanate; low VOC (EC1 PLUS; A+).

  • SDS & TDS available on request. Use PPE & ventilation.

  • Keep off skin; remove uncured with suitable cleaner; cured material = mechanical removal.
